Versatile and quick to learn, I’ve grown a skill set covering the data and web spaces, utilising the mindset of a technical business analyst, working on numerous migrations and projects across a mix of business sectors.

I’m comfortable talking to people of all levels and can switch between clients, board members, IT teams and end users alike.

My passion for helping to solve problems has led to a blog of well over 100 pages, focused mainly on data but including other areas for those looking to self-service their own IT issues.

Data focused consultancy with a focus on business strategy and processes, working with numerous clients around the UK and Europe. Some of the clients and projects included;

Isle of Wight NHS

  • Providing support and training in efficient use of SQL Server
  • Upgrading reporting to PowerBI

Your Doctor Film & Media, Viva Health Labs, Your Thyme

  • Oversaw the build of the data warehouse and reporting capabilities in PowerBI with hand-on experience
  • Architecture of application database and full build of associated front-end to fully manage process of PCR testing for film studios with clients like Sky, Amazon and Disney. At peak, the application hit over 40,000,000 requests a month, utlising a JavaScript/.NET Microservices style system

  • Second portal for Viva Health Labs for ordering and managing pathology, nutritional and environmental tests with data integrations in to multiple external platforms

  • Design and Build of the Dialer database, with stored procedures linking databases on two servers and syncing the data to between 20 and 40 seconds
  • Design and Build of Documentation Management System for managing workflow and UAT
  • Creating specifications for an upgrade to the existing IT infrastructure and software, and reviewing the indexes on all databases, as well as scripting a nightly rebuild on all databases and other Database Administration duties as required
  • Planning and implementation of Log Shipping for reporting and live database environment.

  • Design and management of the data warehouse, including automated nightly data transfer (ETL) routines using SSIS/CSV and SQL script from six databases and associated BI reports.
